Different Types of Fast

1. Complete Fast: No food and water for 3 days

2. Full Fast: No food (1 Samuel 28:20)

3. Partial Fast: From sunup to sundown or from 6am until 3pm (2 Samuel 3:35, Acts 10:3, 30)

4. 2 types of Daniel Fast

*Eat Veggies and Drink water (Daniel 1:12)

*Eat no pleasant (desirable) food, no meat, no wine. (Daniel 10:2-3)


1 Day Fast (1 Samuel 7:6)

3 Day Fast (Acts 9:9)

7 Day Fast (1 Samuel 31:13)

10 Day Fast (Daniel 1:12)

14 Day Fast (Acts 27:33)

21 Day Fast (Daniel 10:2-3)

40 Day Fast (Matthew 4:2)
