How can I be saved?

-When you receive Jesus as your Savior, you have his life living in you. His life in you is eternal life, pure life, good life, glorious life, rich life, abundant life! You are walking around with abundant life within. You are a container for his life, and you can have that life spilling out into all that pertains to you and to everyone around you.

-To be saved means: to be delivered, to be healed, to be set free, protected, made whole, preserved.

-I must believe God had a plan to reconcile man, Jesus came down to earth in flesh to fulfill the plan of reconciliation and the Holy Spirit is present in the recreated man directing him towards God’s intended purpose.

Romans 10:9-13 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile, the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Matthew 16:24-27 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

Prayer: Lord, sanctify me by the truth, your word is truth. I pray that out of your glorious riches you will strengthen me with power through the Holy Spirit. So that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith.
