Know for sure!

Hello Friends, the Bible tells us we can know for sure that we're heaven bound. The apostle John says, "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life" (1 John 5:13). John wants you to know for sure we're going to heaven, and he explains how: "This is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his son. Whoever has the son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Eternal life is God's free gift, which comes to us wrapped up in his son. We receive Jesus and his righteousness, and along with him we receive life.

That is why believers can be sure about going to heaven. If attaining heaven depends on our best efforts, it must always remain uncertain. But if heaven is received as a free gift, we can know we have it for sure.

We have salvation, birthed into the Kingdom of God, which is in the Holy Spirit.

Prayer: Father, I thank you for the free and perfect gift you have given me. I thank you for eternal life. I am forever grateful to know that I am heaven bound. Lord, I ask that you continue to discipline and consistently make changes in me so that I can become more Christ like each and every day. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
